FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE DO I PARK?

One of the best parts of being located inside Moore Pavilion is having a large covered parking area right at the Market! The front (North) side is reserved for vendors, with parking available under the rest of the building.

Parking spots are also available along the streets on 2 sides of the Pavilion.

ARE  RESTROOMS AVAILABLE?

A portable restroom is available fro market Vendors and Customers right next to our Meeting Place barn. There is a separate handwashing station available with soap and hot water to keep our Market as safe and clean as possible.

WHAT ABOUT  BAD WEATHER?

We love that we are located inside a covered Pavilion! Very few weather events stop our Vendors!

Our general rule is we hold Market unless predicted temperatures will be below 40 degrees at time of opening. The best place to check if you are uncertain is our FaceBook page.

WHAT IS  AVAILABLE  AT THE  MARKET?

Tenth Street Community Farmer's Market is a very eclectic place to shop! We have traditional booths with fresh veggies, plants, fresh cut flowers, and baked goods.

There are also stands with gourmet coffees and other seasonal drinks, handmade items like soaps, sewn and knitted gifts, small batch herbal salves.

We have some talented and creative folks in our community that are constantly bringing wonderful new products on Saturday mornings.

DO ALL YOUR  VENDORS ACCEPT  THE SAME METHODS  OF  PAYMENT?

Form of payment varies from vendor to vendor. We encourage signs listing what they accept but do not hesitate to ask if oyu are unsure. Cash is always appreciated. Some accept checks, credit cards or even online banking platforms such as Venmo. We do have a couple vendors able to accept funds from programs such as SNAP.

ARE  PRODUCTS  LOCAL?

We are proud to be a Grower/Producer Market! This means that we do our best to ensure that all products sold each Saturday are locally grown or handmade. We have set a target of 50 miles from Moore Pavilion. Any exceptions to this must have approval of the Board of Directors and be clearly marked.

Feel free to ask vendors about their products! Most are proud of the work they do to bring you excellent wares and are eager to tell you about it!
